When will we see The Travel Channel HD?

What does it take to add The Travel Channel HD? I can't believe that we are still waiting. You can't tell me that there is no room. Looks like D* stopped adding HD channels. Why?

Keep in mind that Cox now owns the Travel Channel.

As for me, a Cox subscriber, I'm getting it May 22. I kid you not. (Some Cox markets have had it for a while, but the way our market works...)

Probably some time in 2010, when D12 starts transmitting to customers. DirecTV doesn't seem interested in adding any new HD channels.

1. new sat D12 launch target date is end of september 2009.
2. allow 2 months of usual testing post launch.
3. takes us to around december 1, 2009....by march 1, 2010 then gives it a 3 month time frame cushion to get it added along with all the other HD channels that are waiting.

I think it was meant to replace the one of the 101 satellites. I don't know if thats still the plan , But if it is I'm quite sure some of their SD channels may make it on the D12 as well as HD.
