It appears that I need to replace the LNB's on my Superdish pointed at 105, 110, 119. There is exactly ONE set available on eBay. Should I go that route or go for a Dish 1000 pointed at 110, 119, 129? I will need HD, Voom and Richmond, VA locals. Is this do-able looking at those sats?
Thanks

This link shows the locals that are on 105 http://ekb.dbstalk.com/105list.htm
Unless you are also getting Charlottesville, VA, I don't think any of your locals are there, so you don't need 105. And I also think all of these locals have been duplicated on 129.

Hopefully soon there will be a SuperDish Repoint Kit out that will convert the SuperDish to a Dish 500+/1000+.

This link shows Richmond, VA locals are on 110, Channels 9385 - 9392. http://ekb.dbstalk.com/110list.htm

So a Dish 1000, should give you Regular Programming, SD Locals, and HD Programming. If your area has problems with 129, then you could continue to use the Dish 1000 for 119 & 110, and then you could repoint the SuperDish to either 129 or 61.5 and pick up the HD with a strong signal.

EDIT:
It doesn't appear you are getting much HD right now, unless you have a wing dish with maybe a DPP44, instead of just a SuperDish 105 and DP34.:)

Thanks for the reply. Good info. I have been out of the loop, obviously. They moved my locals from 105 to 110. I am going to opt for the dish 1000. You're right I don't get any HD now, need to buy the dang TV first!

I have one if you are still in need

I may be interested, but I may have Dish puttting one up for free. What do you want for it, shipped to VA?
Really have no idea what shipping would be, just thought I would let you know if you decided to keep your superdish. You would probably be better off with a new one.
