Where Did My Channels Go..I'm Traveling?

I set up my 211K here at home in southern Cali and got all of my subscribed channels (one bird at a time) but when I set it up in the campsite in SW Texas there were not even as many! I set it to point to 110W for instance and I hardly got any. Should'nt I get all of the same excluding locals?

Yes. Are you using the same antenna (dishes) at each location. Did you run a Check Switch test to see what orbital locations you are seeing and to ensure that the antenna is pointed correctly? Is the line of sight clear? Are all cables securely connected?

Are you talking about national channes or locals? LA locals are on a spot beam and that wouldn't reach to Texas.

Most of the popular channels are on 119 not 110.
