Where to install an antenna, suggestions please.

I just purchased this antenna

Now wondering where to install it, in the attic, on the chimney, or on the fascia of the house. I am about 35 miles from the antennas, and on average we have about 40 mph winds during the year. What would be the best place to install the antenna.

Go to www.tvfool.com and find out what you need for an antenna. I used 92334 for Fontanna and it shows you have ABC and an INDY as VHF channels that are line of sight. Put up a HBU33 antenna on the chimney. The C2 dosen't receive VHF channels.

The C2 dosen't receive VHF channels.

The c2 doesn't, but the C2-v does. It has extra elements resembling rabbit ears.

Try a Winegard HD 1080 it is a VHF/UHF antenna for about $30 I know it works at 60 mi.

I looked at TVfool and if you are in the southern part of Fontana near I-10 the signals are strong. So you could probably mount it in the attic. If you are in the north closer to 210 then it will need to be outside because the terrain starts block you from direct LOS to the signals. North of 210 and you would need a much larger antenna to get anything.

Keep in mind mounting outside is always best for reception...you can try the attic first and see how the reception is
