The website says small multidirectional antenna. Any suggestions as to which one? Do those $19.99 antennas that you place next to the t.v. work?

Also, anyone know if I can hook an OTA antenna to a Comcast HD/DVR receiver?

As to which antenna, all depends on what you REALLY need to receive. The yellows and some of the further ones would probably be best served by a silver sensor (VS sells these, and they're VERY highly regarded).

The NBC in red is a crapshoot with that antenna, it's only a $20 bet, so I'd say go for it.

As to your receiver, no cable-dropped boxes that I know of contain OTA. You'll need a seperate tuner, either from your TV or a seperate box.

erm, that would be V*E*, as in Value Electronics, as in a site sponsor. :)

(Going to get some coffee for that one...)

The Terk is the equivalent of a coathanger and the goXium is the equivalent of a coffee can.

Buy a real antenna that looks like an antenna and works like an antenna.

The small multi-directional will only get you the first 6 in the list. If that's what you want that's ok.

But please buy an antenna from a reputable manufacturer, like Channel Master, Wingard or Antennas Direct.

It will last longer and give much more enjoyment, probably at a lower price.
