Now that Ive got my Ku problem fixed Im on the hunt for more stuff.
My DSR920 doesnt do much for FTA on Ku ( I do enjoy the audio stations on X4 tho as those were lost sometime back on C band.)
What is the most active sat for test and tune for Ku?
I can set my big dish up on one TV and position sats while watching for stuff on the CS6100.Also this next question may be better suited for the C band only section but how can I re arrange the I cons for sats in the 4 DTV maps? I notice that while positioning it will jump all over the place. It also doesnt make sense that 2 adjacent sats be mapped several apart.

On the 4DTV, the tiles (icons) are in the position where you or someone programmed them to be by the satellite setup screen.

Once you set them all up in their proper order across the arc, they will be in sequence. The Ku tiles may be a little off depending on which side of the C satellite the best signal is. That is why you see jumping around when switching from sat to sat.

Im convinced Ill have to do a MR to clear the sat maps up.
Just seems like they would "adjust" them when it does the updates.
I currently have no subscriptions so maybe thats why I dont get the
updates.
I still get the DC lock and it tunes to G1 at night,

Anyway Im still lost with the Coolsat
I tried G10(G0 in 4dtv) which shows alot of free channels.
Blind scan auto scan and manual scan brought up only 4
channels that is said were scrambled, all of which were powervue,
and nothing else.Does it matter that the co rotor is powered off my
DSR 920 and the LNB is powered off the CS?
I dont have the correct power passing splitter the company hosed
the order and sent 4 splitters with both ports power passing,
They said they will resend correct ones but its been a week....
Im about ready to disect one and make it what I need,
but for now Ive got C band, dish position and servo controlled off
the DSR920 and Ku band going directly to the CS6100.

Have you gone to G1 channel 3 and did an unplug of your 920, for 15-30 seconds , and let it reboot. A 922 will get the Maps on it's on through the daily download, but the 920 will only get the channel guide (I think) this way. If you do a reboot on G1 channel 3, you should get the current Maps. Good Luck!

I cringe every time I do that.
Its just something about it not coming back to life after a power down that
worries me.(Been there done that, got the T shirt for $200.)
Anyway I did that and it powered back up and refreshed on G1-3 but the channel map is still the same.
For instance when it moves from G1 to G5 it will display the check mark at G1 then moving to G5 it will show C3,T7,G0,A3,G5.

Same here

I have a 922 and full on lock G1 3 every night. I do on line rehits and still my sats are skewed like that too. Lost the K side of T7 (L7) and it has not returned even with a master reset.

K3 Ku side of W3 usually on Sat noon eastern TP 3 and 5 not DVB NTSC analog

Im even more confused as the sat maps I have from 2 different sources dont jive.
It seems as tho T7 and L7 have been moved from 129*W to 121*W.
This is not the physical location but description thats changed.
Lyngsat seems to be the most current but its a nightmare correlating
4DTV descriptions to all the other "official" descriptions.

Let me try and explain what happened. Motorola, the ones in charge of the Maps, had to do an Emergency Overhaul a few years back when Telstar 7 @ 129 degrees had a major breakdown. They had to move there Clients to Intelsat America 13 @ 121 degrees. They decided to Rename IA 13 to T 7 in there Maps and leave all the channels in place to cause less confusion and make the switch easier for all concerned parties? Since then most of the Clients have relocated to other satellite locations leaving only a hand full (or less) on T 7, IA 13 or G 23 as it's called now. Hope that helps explain why the 4dtv shows T 7 @ 121 degrees? If not, there's not much else I can say? Motorola could Rename all the Sats to there correct current name if they would, but don't hold your breath. They could care less about us?

that explains it
Wondering why the first sat chart I have wasnt updated.
It was the one on the 4 DTV forums that is used to compile info for a MR.
the second I got off of the NPS site.

With my setup (pansat 2500a slaved to a 922) I have to leave the 922 powered on, when I shut it off the servo reverts to vertical polarity. Pulled a lot of hair out learning this.

OK thanks
It has been on but until I get the right splitters I have a slide switch on the LNB side to go from the DSR 920 to the CS.
