Hello. I just joined Dish, and then read about the migration of HD channels away from 61.5. How can I tell which satellite Im looking at. Im america 120 near washington dc.

Simple answer is do you have one satellite dish or two?
If you have a single DISH and are getting HD now then you are all set.

No matter where you're located, you're seeing at least three satellites.
Which slots are appropriate depend on whether you have SD service or HD service. SD locals come from 110W and HD locals come from 61.5W.
This isn't likely to change any time soon for the DC market.
