Welcome to satelliteguys! Unfortunately neither of those dishes are adequate for real FTA. You can get NASA TV and Angel One (religious) for free, but I doubt that is why you bought that receiver.

To get real FTA you need a 30" or larger dish (36" recommended), a different LNBF (or "eye") and a good receiver.

I think there are some threads on this forum about the sonicview 360 and it being a dissappointment. I would recommend reading those threads and probably returning it ASAP. Look at the Fortec Mercury II (or Dynamic), the Coolsat 5000/6000, or the Traxis 3500. They are all popular receivers.

Read through this forum, the FAQ section, the reviews section, the rules about no hack talk and check out some of the sponsors at the top of the page. I would not recommend buying anything before soliciting opinions here on the forum.
