Why can't I see backroom pics on my ipad?

I use the Sat Guys app on my iPad and I can't figure out why I can't see pics in the backroom. I don't have any problems with any of the other forums. I've been looking through many many pics in the CES forum and they look great. But in the backroom nothing works. They look like this.




And when I click on one of them I get a black screen that says error. I'm using a new iPad Air, but I had the same problem on my older iPad 2 and also the same issue on my iPhone 5. Any idea why?

Apple has deemed the backroom inappropriate! Works fine on android.

I have had issues with the Backroom on my older Samsung Tab as well .... also an Android.

However, it Does work on my Samsung Tab 3

I know if you use the non branded (paid) version of Forum Runner (haven't tried tapatalk) you will get the pics.

I just go into the Safari browser on my iPad Air.... Works fine...

I understand there's a few work arounds. I was just hoping for an explanation on why it's just those pics that won't load in the app.
