Will Cablevision offer some VOOM HD content on the open market?

Since CV has a ton of movie rights, etc. through Voom, why would they not offer at least some channels on the open market? They already know how (they own WE, AMC and Sundance)?

Maybe this is part of the reason the board voted not to "give away" Voom.

and a Cinema 1 and 2 (or more with combined content from all Cinema channels).

The problem with that is all the providers ( D*, E* and C* ) seem like they don't really want to pay for new programing right now ( how much it costs per sub per channel ), a lot of contracts are coming up ( like D* with ESPN ) and they will have pay more for current channels, they don't want to add more because of money.


I would love to have MonstersHD.
