Will new national HD go live on 9/12/07???

OK mine is an HR20 so could be why.

The sat was just handed over to DirecTV today, but between now and the 19th are good bets to see something; I think a slow staggered rollout is highly possible. Some of the most popular content SHOULD be first IMHO.

I can't wait that long. I have been reading everyday online to see if anything new has happened and there has been nothing. I need my HD fix now. I am going crazy.

It was a good date thrown out by Scobuck, significant things happened. Let's try again for Saturday the 15th, but I guess most seem to think by the 19th is a good bet.

I received word yesterday from DirecTV corporate that they plan to launch somewhere between 60 and 80 HD channels by the end of September with a total of around 100 comming by Christmas. When they come out exactly...based on DirecTV's past, who knows but the best part is the price. Only $9.99 for all the HD channels.
