Will older remote work with 722

I have an older Model 6000 receiver in the attic and I was wondering before I go looking for it if the remote from that receiver will work with my 722. I have 2 TV's hooked up on TV2 and want to put that remote with one of them. I dont need to DVR features just want to change the channels.

No. Different codes. The 722 remote will probably operate the 6000 in the auxillary position though. I used a 622 remote to run a 508 for a few weeks, but I had to play the aux mode trick to do so.

Check ebay, you can pick up remotes for a couple of bucks.
