Will this remote work with a 3000?

My friend has a 3000 receiver and the remote stopped working. Will this remote control it?

Thanks for your reply... I should've mentioned that I did review that thread, and the replacement guide linked in it. It indicates the "best choice" for a replacement remote, however it does not give a comprehensive listing of all the remotes that work with the 3000, unless I'm reading it wrong.

Does anyone know if the remote in the link above will work?

Yes that remote should work with the 3000 receiver. The IR remotes from E* are all pretty similar in the way they work. You just have to watch out for the UHF type remotes as there are some different ones out there.
