Any news on Milwaukee HD Locals?

I have a DISH 1000 and was told that in order for me to get local channels I needed to install a new dish. Because the way my house is situated, the dish needs to be about 20 feet away from the 1000.

I believe I read somewhere the 1000 would be able to receive locals in MKE, but am unsure of the timeframe. I currently have an OTA that works okay, but am experiencing the issue with not having a programming guide.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Milwaukee is on the list to be added:

However, it is not on the list list for Q2 that Scott posted in the Dish info thread.

o HD Local Launches for Q2 2006 – DISH Network is planning to launch the following DMAs next: Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Phoenix, Miami, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, Spokane, Portland (OR), and San Antonio. Please note that these cities are not confirmed until they go live.

So anytime between now and the end of the year.
