Winegard Pathway X2 local channels

If I were to purchase the Winegard Pathway X2 could I watch local channels from different areas of the country while still being at home and not traveling? Or even if you are traveling can you only get your own locals? Thanks much, Kyle

Spotbeams will physically limit what locals you can see. Dish reuses frequencies so the same frequency might serve a small area around Tampa, and another around Topeka and yet another around Phoenix.

You won’t get your own locals once you travel outside of your local spotbeam.

But you can call Dish each place you stop and they can switch you to receiving the locals where you are camping.

May need to add in DISH uses Eastern and Western Arcs so you may need to select the correct equipment for your location in the country.
