Won an auction for Dish HD receivers and hopper boxes - now what?

I won a public auction for Dish Network HD receivers and hopper boxes. What is the best way for me to find out if they are re-sellable without getting myself in trouble (having to pay any outstanding balance) or having to return them to Dish (because I can just part them out for recycling)?

Is there a website that I can input the serial numbers to find this out vs. having to call Dish directly?

Well.. if you were that worried about it, you should have either checked before you bought or not bought them,unless you got them REALLY cheap.

I'm kinda thinking he got them as part of maybe a storage unit auction (that belonged to a Dish reseller ??).

The show, like pretty much every "reality" show that lasts more than 3 seasons, became a joke. Remember when Brandi and whatever his name is had a "budget" or when lockers sold for $200?

How many people are suing because they entered the business and lost their shirts and THEN discovered the show was NOT real, that some lockers were "salted" with valuable goods?

I remember a couple big ones a couple years ago, but don't ever remember hearing the outcome. It filed directly against the channel itself for "salting" the lockers. I must agree with Hall, and hope none won.
