i did remeber last night where another dish was closeby.
But it doesnt have a common mount on it. it looks like its at a fixed postion.
the mount kind of looks like it props the dish up.
its not something red-necked made, it looks professional.
it has a standard chaparal feedhorn.
the dish does not move, yet its newer (early 90's) looking
the dish sits a foot off the ground
the mount has a metal rod from the back of the dish that goes to a metal ring
heres a picture of the dish and mount

anyway to make it motorized?

That's one of the Fortec C-band dishes. That one in the photo can NOT be motorized. It's worth having for a single fixed position.

They are NOW available with a polar mount upon request.

Nice thing about this 6-foot Fortec is that it comes in small pieces, therefore shipping costs on it are actually less than 1 meter dishes.

Iceberg has a couple of these.

thats not an exact photo of the dish, just the sort of mount it has.
there is no way to cut it and bolt in an acuator?

sure you can fabricate something for it...I've seen the 6 footers fabricated with a couple bars t make an actuiator work with it
