I think most of us agree it's become less and less useful. Maybe it's not so important what the replacement might be, maybe it's just more important to recover the bandwidth?

Yeah NBC is good at destroying networks, Another weather channel in HD or none at all would be better.

Navy,
1 channel being removed won't make much difference bandwidth wise.

Ah, but I have no fear that it would make space for one, perhaps more popular and more profitable, channel.

I don't see how removing anything we currently pay for is good for us. Less options for the same price is never a good thing in my opinion. I don't watch TWC unless there is a crazy hurricane, tornado, or earthquake so maybe a couple times a year. It's still nice to know its there when I want it though. I vote no.

Yes, not because I enjoy loosing channels but because there is the slightest chance that it might send a message to the powers that be at NBC. I know, I know, dream on.

I honestly don't recall the last time I watched TWC. Back in the 80s and 90s I planned by fishing trips and weekend activites around them...nowadays I get the weather in real time, 24x7, from multiple sources as others have pointed out. Frankly, the weather widget on my phone tells me 95% of what I need to know.

I stopped relying on The Weather Channel years ago. Back in the '90's, when I was working early mornings, if I wanted to know what the temperature was before going outside, the only info I could find on screen was a crawl stating "It's 76 degrees and sunny at Endless Summer Tanning Centers. Call today for more information." Yay. Just what I needed to know on a cold January morning.

Today, I can get more information, faster, just by opening my laptop. Don't need to wait for Local on the Eights.
