So as it stands today, If I am taking in all the information right. If I wanted to catch a WWE PLE next month as a Dish Customer I would have to subscribe to the new ESPN service ?

I am guessing NO. It seems if they get a deal it will be for the $19.99 a month package, not the $29.99 package. And its the $29.99 package that contains the WWE stuff.

Sometimes no.

But going on what Tony said above, Normally the results for many of the matches are posted minutes after they are over, sometime with video. I would expect this to stop or the delivery to slow down as no reason to subscribe if you get the results live as they happen.

I was listening to the radio when driving home and they said that another cable company signed a seal today with ESPN but it only covered the ESPN + Plan which they were saying is the $19.99 a month plan, and saying it does not include the WWE stuff which is in the $29.99 a month package.

Maybe they were wrong with what they were saying, but it was on SiriusXM, so I would HOPE they know what they are talking about.

Now I have mentioned using a VPN and watching all this stuff on Netflix. To me this is a valid work around as I don't feel like I am steeling as I am paying for the service. And If I drove up to Canada and started my Netflix app I would be able to watch those things as part of my package because of my location.

The WWE is happy about this deal with ESPN because they are getting paid $500 million for every PPV they hold. That $500 million without doing anything other then putting on a show, not to mention the money they make in ticket and merchandise sales they get on top of the $500 million.

If you follow wrestling their competition AEW is selling out all over the place and are happy yet their gate they are taking home is less than $2 million, and they are playing to some of the same size arenas and stadiums the WWE is... so imagine getting paid $500 million just to have a show. WWE Don't care now they have a contract and are getting paid no matter how many eyes are seeing it, its is now up to ESPN to draw people in to pay the $29.99 a month for their service to see them.

I am not a sports fan, so its not worth it to me, for others they are avid sports fans and will pay it and getting the WWE stuff will be like getting a ice bonus, it will be a good deal for them.

It's not stealing, but it's explicitly a violation of Netflix TOS (any effort to obscure your location is), it's not uncommon for Netflix to blacklist VPN IPs. I could see this being the impetus for more emphasis on enforcement just as other high profile content has in the past. But yes, if you want to just drive over to Canada to watch it, that's a perfectly valid usage of your service. I've had it inadvertently happen to me but it was a fluke and wasn't attempting to access anything like what's being described, was just still connected to my work VPN on accident.

Interesting fact about VPN's. Techdoctor UK just received a piracy letter from his service provider while always using a VPN. Not sure they are as private as advertised.
