Yup she died last Sunday.

Another loss, and she was a very nice lady.

Tonight VInce McMahon is going to appologize for last nights tribute to Benoit. And they will also be going on the defnesive that it was NOT Roid Rage.

I think that WWE did the correct thing with the tribute last night, they didn't know. And it was done with class and style. There wasn't any WWE commerials for the replays of Vengence or anything. Just a heartfelt tribute to one of their own.

Hmmm? Benoit, Martel and Bower; all in the same week? What bombshell is about to hammer the WWE?

Karma for the whole "Vince is dead" thing. I actually thought when they started this how bad it would look if someone "big" really did die during this story line. Well, that seems to have happened.

Yes it was a very classy opening statement tonight on ECW. Vince seemed kinda pissed. But handled it well saying that they want mention his name all night, and the wrestlers tonight are dedicateing their performance for anyone affected by this tragedy.

I was just going to "throw this out there". Pardon me if it's already been stated somewhere and I looked over it by mistake....

I live in Northeast Georgia and was watching the six o'clock news earlier tonight (many of you others probably get the Atlanta locals through AAD) when I heard them say that they found somewhat of a "safety deposit box" that was locked and had been placed in whatever area it was in (in hiding) by Benoit's wife. Inside the box were various accounts that dated back to a couple of years of Benoit's treatment of both her and the kid along with a note that indicated she feared what he might do to them. Not sure if anybody else has saw or heard this, but that was earlier tonight.

The WWE did the right thing with the tribute at the moment they aired it last night because they had absolutely no idea what all had happened. However, while it was still on, I changed over to FOX 5 (Atlanta) and they said there that it was already believed that Benoit had killed both of them prior to killing himself -- at that point, I just quit watching the tribute and wished they would have went on with the show.

The media is turning this action by one man into a witch hunt against the WWE.

This was not Roid Rage... Roid rage does not last 48 hours.

This is the thought out action of one sick man.

Also, The Score in Canada shows WWE Raw at 8:15 & 11:30 on Monday and 2:30PM Tuesday. They bluntly said they were not showing it on Tuesday after seeing the press conference.

Last night on Monday Night Raw, the WWE presented a special tribute show, recognizing the career of Chris Benoit. However, now some 26 hours later, the facts of this horrific tragedy are now apparent. Therefore, other than my comments, there will be no mention of Mr. Benoit tonight. On the contrary, tonight's show will be dedicated to everyone who has been affected by this terrible incident. This evening marks the first step of the healing process. Tonight, the WWE performers will do what they do better than anyone else in the world--entertain you.

Many news outlets are stating that anabolic steroids were found in the home. I truly believe in the episodes called 'roid rage' as I have seen people on steroids and other drugs that has these outbursts, also have worked with rehabilitation services specializing in the treatment for such drugs. I, however, do not think there should be ANY excuse for someone killing anyone regardless of the situation. And to try to blame steroids is just a 'cop out'. Yes, people do have 'roid rage' but I honestly believe there is more to the story. I am still in shock over this and glad WWE has chose not to speak of him, its just disgusting.

And even more happier the whole McMahon death storyline is over.

Also, many news outlets are saying that bibles were placed by there bodies by Benoit, now ask yourself, if you were in a messed up state of mind, how would you know to place a bible by someones dead body? If you are so mentally unstable, what would make you place a bible by someones body?

I just don't understand, but I am done with the whole story, just my thoughts.

Right ... many things can cause many things. It's all about excuses isn't it? and I'm tired of it. Why was he "obviously" on them. Is everyone who does stupid unstable things on steroids? Answer: No.

Its not an excuse. Roids can cause rage and unstable behavior. Those are facts. He was obviously on them. He was a dumbass.

After coming here last night and reading posts, I did a search on Chris on google, at 11 PM CST, there was already reports from ABC etc. that it was a murder suicide (google reported them as being an hour old).

Anyways, I've already noticed here that it has been asked at least twice, if roids had a part. My answer to that question, who cares... Still no excuse to kill wife and son. Do I think he was on 'roids when he did this? NO. Has he been on 'roids before? YES. This guy was just plain unstable mentally...and unfortunately, his family paid for it. I read the that 'roids found in the home were for his son because supposedly they thought or was very small for his size. And I also read that their sone had needle marks on one of his little arms.

Again, this affects me greatly because I am of father of 2 kids, ages 2 and 7....and for someone to be so heartless to asphyxiate a child ...and YOUR OWN no less...just breaks my heart. I personally hope he rots in whatever he perceived to be hell for what he has done.

There are hordes of steriod apes in the WWE if you care to look. Hell they found them in his home. Vince himself is one. The thought of the WWE policing itself is a gut buster. No one said definitively that roids were to blame, they said it could have contributed to it. Several other things were probably in the mix as well. Roids can cause severe depression as well.
