X1 Native Resolution Option?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to set the X1 box to automatically "tune" to the correct resolution based on the channel source... With my Genie it was easy and the picture always looked good but with X1 I seem to have to make the choice between 720p / 1080i / 1080p (I have a 1080p) and some pictures, I'm guessing those broadcast in 1080p, look great while others, I'm guessing not broadcast in 1080p, look grainy. Any help here would be great as I really like the X1 platform but the "grain" bothers me...

X1 does not have that option.
