Picked up a 2nd 360 for the kids. Decided to give them the present early. Set it up at 11am. Got the 3 flashing red lights by 5pm. WTF:mad: Returned it to ToysRus for a replacement. So far so good. Manufacture's date was 8/2006. From the start, the power suppy seemed to be making a buzzing noise. The power button on the console itself didn't feel right either. Didn't think much of it. Figured they made small changes to fix the launch issues. Glad I decided to set it up early. Would have sucked having a broken unit on Christmas day.

Its like a PC, if there is something wrong with it it will normally die within the first 24 hours.

I would rather have that happen then have it running for weeks then die losing all the saved data on the unit. :)

I bought the extended warranty for the first one. Will do the same for this one, after the store return period is up.
