I was thinking about getting a HDDVD player and was wondering if anyone owns one and if it works good?

I know Blu-ray is the standard now, but I don't have HDMI inputs, so I was thinking of getting this.

They want $40 at Amazon, which doesn't sound bad to me. Where can you buy movies besides EBay, I don't trust that site?

I have one of those, and it works great.

Your main concern is getting movies, but that link should help you out. Of course new releases are out, but at $40, why not give it a try.
