GH World Tour HELP !!!

I am unable to start the game from any of the guitars (3) in my house. I can press the Green button on the guitar to get the game to load, but it the console is unresponsive to any buttons when it says to press any button to continue. It will respond to the PS key to exit the game.

I'm reformatting the console tonight (as a last ditch effort). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

something to do with how the PS3 assigns controllers maybe, try that thread, maybe it will make more sense to you.

Dammit...should have posted before formatting. I've got another hour to wait for the format to complete. I'll try tomorrow and let you know. I tried so many google searches and came up empty.
