So I am a Comcast customer for internet and I have dish for tv so no real need for services for tv, but recently I had to go I to there office and they were talking about they’re xfinity steaming service via the roku and they said I could add it for 10 dollars. I decided to five it a try.

Overall it’s pretty good, menu and layout is good and I figured for $10.00 it allows me to experiment with this and have access to my local RSN. Don’t know how long I will keep it but it’s not bad for those that are looking for cable steaming.
I am not sure if it’s available in all areas

What channels do you get for $10? Locals? I have their streaming box which has Netflix and Amazon Prime, it's pretty good but I also have YouTube TV which they don't have on their box.

I guess I would call it there extra package, which includes sports. And now that I think about it with the RSN and broadcast fees and they are viewing it as a triple play since I have phone and internet it more closer to 20.00, sorry for initially saying 10, but I still think it’s a pretty good deal if you want a backup service or just like multiple services like us SatelliteGuys like lol

Xfinity says this is false. The only way to get streaming is if you have a cable package.

Sorry, maybe I was not clear in my post. I did add a cable package, except this was done through there xfinity app via Roku

Someone should tell them about their "Xfinity Stream" and "Flex" packages that do NOT require a video subscription.

This is a false statement. I was just watching a Sky News live feed from the US Senate using my Flex-enabled broadband-only account.
