Yesterday was a rarity in sports

Actually Tom hit it right, no games played by ANY of the four major sports. (MBL, NHL, NBA, NFL). Happens every year.

I didn't watch ESPN yesterday, after the All Star game, what did they talk about all day?

Jimmy Valvono ....
The Jimmy V auction is every year the day after the All Star Game.

I'll give you guys/gals a chance to figure out what made yesterday such a rare day in sports.

Clue: It happens every year, about the same point on the calendar.

I'll come back with the answer late, if nobody guesses.

I have mentioned this before in here.

Used to though it happened 3 days out of the year. The day before and after the All-Star game and what other day? Anybody know?

Oops! I thought that the title of the thread meant that the Nats won a game. My bad:)

HAH! :D

Maybe it meant Glen Sather had $5 in cap room he didn't use up. Joba was under 100 pitches (and two hours) after three innings. The Jets got better as the season went along for a change. St. John's actually landed a City recruit.

I didn't annoy one of the 'Satellite Guys'. :)
