Fitch Ratings just released DirecTV's latest subscriber's numbers-8.8 million subscribers at the end of 2Q25.

Then this for YTTV-Nathanson pegs its current customer scale at 9.4 million.

So-
#1 Comcast-15.5 Million
#2 Charter-14.9 Million
#3 YTTV 9.4 Million
#4 DirecTV 8.8 Million (includes Uverse and all internet versions)
#5 Dish 7.1 Million (includes Dish at 5.3M and Sling 1.8M).

That means a company only providing TV services for 8 years, has passed two Satellite TV Providers, that has been doing so for, roughly, 30 years, both of whom, have lost combined, over 22 Million subscribers.

Not shocked by YTTV's rise. Spin back three years. We had Dish at our cottage where we spent a lot of time year round, no internet. We had Spectrum Internet/TV at our primary residence. Once we got internet at the cottage we discontinued both Dish and Spectrum TV and went with YTTV at both locations. YTTV gave us great flexibility to use it at both places, sometimes simultaneously, nice DVR service, locals at the cottage (very rural, very poor OTA signals) and "the Boss" quickly got used to the UI. Things are working out very well.

were happy with YTTV. sure it took some learning curves :biggrin :coco. were running the 2024 ultras with the wifi 6 but i hard wired em:). it's blazing fast never any slow load times and no buffering!!! and with astc 3.0 being a disaster i'm sure more will flock to streaming services..
