LOL! That's exactly what I was thinking! Where do I sign up for over 100 HD channels for $24.99 a month! I'll take it!
BTW Dish does have free VOD. It's not great, but it does have it. I watched Caprica in HD that way.
See ya
Tony
It is good and was drawing quite a crowd at CES today.
However I am sure DirecTV could pick 8 things that their DVR does that Dish Networks DVR does not. (like side by side of the VOD stuff, MRV, etc...) it all depends on how you look at it.
> BTW Dish does have free VOD.
erp
huh? where do i find this?
722K has VOD streamed over the internet. nearly all shows are $$$ just a few freebies, and PQ wasnt all that good.
of course I have a SD tv, but regular programs from sat look better
Most of this video is a crock of ___t. Except for the PIP feature DIRECTV can match or beat most if not all of the features mentioned in the video.
DIRECTV chose to limit the number of remote buttons while DISH has more buttons but is more difficult to use in the dark.
Sunday Ticket, media share (DLNA),DIRECTV2PC, free VOD DISH has none of these !!
DIRECTV doesn't charge 5$ a month to not hook up a phone line or 5$ to downgrade a package !!
Let the flame wars begin (>:
Dish loses signal far easier than directv.. at least if your in rains alot florida.. the speed of the dvr is 100% true.. directv speed sucks.. however they dont require purchasing a new box to get new features.. directv2pc is freaking awsome!
> Snuggled up with the lady in the bed keeping warm watching TV
> can feel all the different buttons, as they are shaped differently,
> some are concave, some have little bumps on them
(cough) damn is it getting warm in here or, just me
