Anybody have one? If so, do you like it? How sensitive is the tuner?

Seems to be the only tuner capable of handling ATSC 3.0 DRM.

Appears to have DVR capabilities if external storage is added.

Look forward to hearing comments. I am considering the single tuner model. $200 seems a tad steep, but if it can actually do all the things it purports to do, might be worth it.

The tuner is very good for ATSC 1.0. In my rural area ATSC 3.0 is spotty, and I don't know if it is the local stations or the ZapperBox. Most of the time I get no picture or sound when trying to tune ATSC 3.0. I opened a support ticket with them yesterday about this, but I have not yet heard back.

It does record, if you add external storage. If you want to schedule recordings, you have to subscribe to the guide service ($29.99 per year). Otherwise, you can only manually record.

I also have a Tablo next gen, and I use it far more than I do the ZapperBox. The Tablo interface is much better, more modern. It has it's own set of issues ... I guess nothing is perfect. It doesn't do ATSC 3.0 though.

There's absolutely NO reason to get an ATSC 3.0 tuner at present. There's no advantage to any of those broadcasts now. There's NO 4k, and very unlikely to ever be. ALL they have, is rebroadcasts of the main stations .1 channel.

With all that said, Zapperbox appears to be the best one out there, though by far the highest priced one.

I creased range..I can reliably revive all of an adjacent DMAs 3.0nsignals but not all the 1.0bsigns.

That all depends on where the ATSC 3.0 Lighthouse is, and what exact qam modulation they are using. The higher the qam and fec they use, the less range and ease of reception. There's no guarantee that will all stay the same IF or WHEN they each move back to their actual towers, and it becomes a total 3.0 market.

Which looks more unlikely by the day. IMO, it'll never happen UNLESS the Fed's actually mandate it.
