I have an existing Zinwell 6x8 multiswitch that is full and I need to add (2) more outputs. What is the most cost-effective way to expand my existing system without having to invest in something like a very expensive, new, Spawn *x10 or a *x12 multiswitch?

You have three options. You can use a Zinwell WB616 wideband 6x16 multiswitch-the cost is about half of the Spaun models. Alternately, you can use wideband splitters on the four cables connecting the dish to the multiswitch to feed a second WB68. You just have to make sure that each splitter feeds the same input on both multiswitches (13v, 18v, 13v/22KHz, 18v/22KHz). Finally, you can cascade a second WB68 multiswitch, which would give you 8 outputs on one switch but only four on the second one, for a total fo 12.
