I live in Aurora in a apartment and they just sent me a notice a year after I got my directv dish put up that I need to take it down from the balcony rail and put it in a cement pot on a pole. I have a hd slimline dish right now that's about 6ft high off the ground. Anyone in the area that wants to do this on the side. Got to love apartment's. I need to get this done by next week.

Sounds like a pretty neat project if you have some basic skills; you'd be learning some stuff about tuning the dish along the way too. Use a large flower pot with a two inch fence pipe just long enough to get the signal above the railing. If you are handy, use some re-barb piping at the bottom of the pipe (in the cement) to prevent twisting in the wind. Make sure the pipe is plumb with a level & then have fun fine tuning the dish starting with the 101 sat.

If not, I'm sure someone will chime in for the extra cash in the Chicago area.
