IC, so any games listed on the FSN Detroit website that list the Tigers as being in HD should be available as long as it's a home game ???

Looks like there should be alot of Tigers in HD the rest of the year then, the schedule shows 10 more games in HD listed with only 1 being a road game.

btw, the game is shown in HD for me tonight.

No all home games won't be, because Directv picks and chooses which ones to show due to limited space to show everyones games. This will change when all the FSN channels have thier own channel sometime after September 15 or on that day. I don't know if they go live on the 15th or not.

Tigers win again tonight win the first two against the Mariners.
Tigers only 4.5 back at themoment from Cleveland, could be 4 by the end of the night.

Sheffield's back, starting to sting the ball again, Inge and Pudge hitting in the last two weeks, Pudge always hits better when going to right. He was a .300 + hitter when he got here.
Timo Perez up from Toledo, is hitting, it may not be too late yet., they will need some help if they are going to take the Wild Card, the Yanks just keep on winning.

I saw the score when I got home from work and wondered if it was a NFL post and not a MLB. I think the Mariners wanted to vent some frustration out.

Yep... the hole is a little deeper now. Tigers lose, and Yankees are up by three in the 8th. That means four games behind New York in the wild card.

It just sucks that the remaining schedule does not include any more games against the Yankees. Next week they have a three game series against the Tribe, but even if they sweep the Tribe, they need the Yankees to lose three. The only way I see the Yankees doing that is in their three game stand against Boston this coming weekend.

So, if you are a Tigers fan you need to cheer for the Red Sox and pray we can beat the Tribe in the middle of next week. That is if this last loss has not gotten to their head.

I normally root for the BoSox unless they play the Tigers anyways.

IF and this is a BIG IF, the Tigers sweep the Indians and don't get swept,
IF the Tigers sweep the Indians at teh moment that would put them 2.5 GB, That I think is doable in the last weeks of the season when teams like the Indians have as much or more pressure on them, the Tigers have been thru the playoff pressure, the Indians have not, in quite awhile.

Personally, I would rather get hot and win the division, than the WC.

Well, I was at Comerica for the first time today under a scorcher sun. The stadium was great. Even though the Tigers lost handily, I had a great time. Looks like Bonderman might be out for the season
