Directv now has 31 hd channls web site shows 18 more next month thats 49. How do they come up with 70 by the end of next month and 100 by years end.

Sit back and watch and enjoy the HD ride now. The web site will be updated often. The channels listed there now don't even include the RSN's that are going national.

RSN's aren't listed and there are several of them.

There are several RSN HD channels listed in the new October Direct Access Guide. Along with the channel numbers for all the new HD channels due in October.

I was referring to the Fox RSN, like FSN Ohio for example.
I was pointing out that RSNs (except for BTN) cannot be on the national HD list because they aren't national yet.

Perhaps they don't intend to make them CONUS in the near future.

actually, they still do. robert mercer confirmed that in an email to me i received friday evening. i asked about more hd broadcasts for nhl center ice and nba league pass because of the switch to conus beam. he said that was correct.

Hope you all like the first 21, because.................
Possibilities

1. Because that's all you're going to get for a while
2. Because the next batch will be better with more true HD/hour
3. Because there will be more coming "next Wednesday".

Could be any, all or none of the above.

Please define 'a while'

LOL

Main Entry: while
Pronunciation: 'hwI(-&)l, 'wI(-&)l
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English hwIl; akin to Old High German hwIla time, Latin quies rest, quiet

1 : a period of time especially when short and marked by the occurrence of an action or a condition : TIME <stay here for a while>

Me thinks the end of October before we see any other additions.

ScoBuck?
