What is the best way of adding a 4DTV or any analog receiver to an existing digital FTA receiver?

I believe I would attach the IF out of the digital receiver to the IF in of the 4DTV / analog receiver. Polorization would then be controlled via the digital FTA receiver. Is this correct or would you use a high frequency splitter?

I use a high block splitter from my C band dish feeding my 922 and 2700A for C band. My G16 Primestar Ku dish is fed to the 922 for X4. My G10, G27 and Echo 7 Ku is fed to the 2700A. The 4DTV controls dish position and polarity.

I discovered today that an analog receiver won't work with my digital FTA receiver due to the DiSEqC switch. When I connect the IF out of the digital FTA receiver into the IF in on the analog receiver the digital FTA receiver no longer works.

I need to come up with a new setup to enable analog receiver testing as well as digital.

yeah the old analog receivers don't like diseqc switches

best way to run it direct from the lnb to a splitter then one side going to the analog and other going to a diseqc then to the dvb receiver and putting the dc block on the side you don't want controling the power.

This is probably how I am going to end up wiring the dishes.
