As you have hopefully read in one of the many other threads on the same topic. As soon as new shows and/or programming that is produced HD or that they actually have the contract right s to re-air as HD they surely will. This is NOT a DBS issue but a provider issue.

You would think with MHD showing HD programming from MTV, CMT, and VH1 that some of this would appear on this channels.

The only rumors I've heard about any of those channels say early next year. Not sure what that means, although I wouldn't wait around in the first week of January...

DirecTV has those networks now in HD.

They will air when they air rather wait for the network to air than have to wait for the channel to be added while there are HD content.
