Congratulations San Diego!!!

Good Job! That was the biggest upset of the playoffs! I have been rooting for you all season; even when people gave me weird looks, for saying the Chargers were a team to watch. See you next week:cool:.

Man, I hate you!!:D

We are just spreading the love:D

Seriously, as much hate as the Patriots always have to suffer from everyone, do you ever hear any of them talk smack? No, Tom and the boys usually compliment the team they are about to play. Call us dirty, but at least you have to admit we are polite.:)

And now with Dallas out of the picture the Giants will have the dubious privilage of traveling to the frozen tundra next week to face the Pack who convincingly dismantled the Seahawks yesterday!:up

It looks like the SB will be NE and GB. The Pats will be heavily favored of course. But Green Bay is a very young team despite old man Favre. Nobody's told them they're not supposed to be this good!

I will be rooting for the Packers to win it all, I just hate the Pats sooooooo much.

Patriots will take apart San Diego, and then roll over Green Bay for a perfect season. :D

Too bad they had to start with that stupid scandal.

Sorry to bust the bubble packers fans....GB had an easy season other than the Dallas game.
I don't think GB has a chance to beat NE in SB or for that matter even the Chargers..

Mr Norv is not too confident going in the Fox hole and coming back in SD with a victory if you saw the interview :)

Bret Favre is superhuman, geneticists should study his DNA. 38 sounds young, but that is like 70 in football years. Heck, I am only 1 year older than him; and I am dreading having to wrestle with the snowblower today, never mind being chased around by 300LB linemen for 4 hours. He looked great against Seattle, he looked cool and confident; he realizes he has nothing left to "prove", and has reached that magic zen-like state which some of those older players ascend to.:hatsoff:

I'm lovin' it !!!!

You should, the backup QB did an amazing job holding in together in the 4th quarter. There have been a lot of games where a team has lost their lead when the QB leaves the game. They totally punked Peyton on this one; he looked flustered fairly early in the game, SD knew it and kept the pressure on. At least he didn't cry like T.O., that was just embarrassing.

At the same time, everyone has to figure that this makes NE's chances of going to the SB that much easier.
Doesn't matter if it makes it easier or not. No one can argue that they deserve it (assuming they win) after they go undefeated for the year, no matter who they meet in the playoffs.

Oh I disagree. San Diego's strength of schedule as well as overall record compared to Indy, if nothing else should be reason enough for my original comment about it being "easier" for New England. And let's not forget to factor in how banged up San Diego is currently. As a previous poster noted, if it wasn't for the cheating scandal, I have a feeling a lot more people would be on board with just how great New England truly is.

The funny part is, most people don't realize the scandal had nothing really to do with cheating - but everything to do with bad blood between Mangini and Belichick. (think Annakin vs Obi Won) Good for him, those Jets look so bad-ass now.
