 That saucer thingy is so damn ugly..it is that gray color.

If I supply the paint and labor do you think it would be okay for me to paint it the color of my siding?

Has anyone done this before?

I see lots of them painted. Just don't paint the LNBs. You can paint the dish itself, as well as the mounting "arms".

Just don't use a metallic paint.

One option is to get a "skin" for it, of your favorite football team, or just be boring and paint it to match your house.:p

I dont watch footbal or any other sport (BBBOOORRRIIINNNGGG) so i will not get a skin for it. I will be borning and paint it the same color of my siding as I mentioned in my origibnal post!!!!!!!!!

I don't think painting mine is gonna help.:D:D:D

Now I know why people are mad about the "Street View" offered on Google Maps. This guy's ex wife is going to see how well he is living and go back to Court for bigger share of his assets!:D

You complain about the color of the dish and yet you have that name, I think its time for an award.

Thats strange. Non metallic I can understand because the metal flake in the paint may scatter the signal to the LNB. But non gloss? If anything you would want gloss to let it self wash easier. Or snow/Ice to fall off. RF doesn't care about Gloss or flat. But IF it did reflect more signal to the LNB that would be a good thing. Less rain fade.

Whats this brush stuff.??. One Spray can. Scuff it with a fine scotch pad , shot it, done and dry in 10min. If you need to match a color, go to your local Automotive paint supply and parts dealer. Carquest, NAPA etc. Or Sherwin Williams or Dupont auto paints store. The can computer match from a sample and put it in a 16oz spray can. From lacquer to Urethane to 2 coat. Urethane is nice.
