High Def Owners, what TV do you have?

i have a 32" Samsung in my room, 720p/1080i.

i have a 52" Panasonic in my living room, 1080i i believe. we are getting it replaced hopefully with a 1080p if its possible.

it's 1 year old. i've been waiting 5mos for it to be repaired and nothing has been done so they have agreed to a replacement.

i don't know how much they will credit us, im hoping for around $1500, but im expecting about $1000. if it's the $1000 i will first ask them if i have to purchase another Panasonic TV or if it can be any brand (i am getting it from The Brick). if it can i will probably be getting a 50" SONY 1080p DLP. if it is limited to Panasonic only, which it most likely is, then i will ask him to find me a 52" that is that cheap... i doubt he will at The Brick, because i have searched and the cheapest and closest to 52" is a 56" that is $1499.99. i am willing to pay about $300 out of my pocket so if neither of those are accepted by Panasonic, then i will just wait for the repair and get my extended warranty.

Okay. starting this Sunday, it will be:

Samsung 52" LCD 1080p HDTV :D:D in Living Room.
Samsung 32" LCD 720p HDTV in Bedroom.

My 9 year old 60" Hitachi Ultravison died a week ago Friday. So, we went to frys and picked up our first HD.

Samsung 52" 1080p.

Last Friday the Dish folk came out and installed the 722 and a new dish.

Way cool...:D

From oldest to newest in use. All are rear projectors.
65" Toshiba (1999) CRT, living room.
42" Toshiba (2002) CRT, Bedroom.
55" Sony Bravia (2007) SXRD, Master Bedroom.
Note I hadn't originally planned on buying the Sony SXRD yet, but did so after Sony announced they were discontinuing them, leaving only more expensive sets in their plans.

Sony Bravia XBR4 52" in the living room, cheapie Polaroid 27" in the bedroom.

For me, the 120hz refresh rate on the Sony was worth the extra money. It makes movies look almost like the actors are right inside the TV. Its just amazing! :D
