I have a 65" mitsubishi projection HD built in tv 1080i that is about 6 yrs old i guess. The last 2 days i have been getting a bright blu trailing gohst on most images that appears to be only when i turn it on. I used to install cable tv & troubleshoot it for about 8 yrs & i haven't seen an image like this, it's not like a typical cable ghosting. It is also on the hd antenna input as well as the dvd imput so i am assuming my tv is starting to go. No other set has the blue images & i have 3 dish hd rcvrs. Was just wondering if anyone has ever had a similar problem. Yesterday it was on the set only for a couple of minutes & today i noticed it seemed to stay a while longer. Not looking forward to replacing my main tv. Thanks for any info & it does this on hd & reg channels

most likely faulty convergence ICs (bad solder). Do a google for it. An in home repair should be 225-275.
thanks for the info,tweeter the store i bought it from wants 95 bucks to come out but i may have a tv service in the area that does in home service
