Dallas Drake has a home here in the Traverse City area, and needless to say, "Hockeytown North" is very happy these days. This is a great family picture taken after the victory parade. It's obvious he has not spent all of his time in the NHL just playing hockey (with only four little ones...he did miss a few years )

Thank goodness for the DVR. I no longer have to decide between the two since I rarely enjoyed both at the same time. Hey, toss in some beer and you have a Triple Play!

yep, the DVR allows me to enjoy my hockey without sacrificing quality time with the wife

I loved it when the Wings came to TC for pre-season training. I've gotten so many signed pucks, pics, jerseys when they visit. They are so accessible when they are there. Now I live too far away to make a day trip. (used to live only an hour from TC)
