It's official.

The Blackhawks are no longer a welcome mat for the rest of the Western Conference.

They are serious- a big signing AND a new TV contract.

Looks like Hawks fans can finally come out of the darkness!

BTW, I'm posting this because:

1. As a Sabres fan, I like to see how ex-Sabres are doing (I'll never forget when he KO'd Umberger in the playoffs.)

2. The Blackhawks have their first real D-Man since Chelios.

3. I live in a part of Wisconsin that's near the Illinois border, so I see a lot of Blackhawks games on Comcast.

Yep, the hawks have a real young team also. Were definatly building a satnley cup team. I cant wait to see Patrick Kane on the ice again this season. Damm hockey season isnt coming fast enough. Now, that we can see every game this year and hopefully everygame in hd too :)

they also signed cristobel huet. the hawks were a nice young team to watch last season. but they should be in the hunt for the playoffs this season.
