Does Caller ID Show Up on the TV Screen?

It seems to say it does on the DirecTV website but the auto-generated customer service email response they sent me says something like "you can access your call log history via the menu functions". I just wanted to confirm that you do actually see the call on the TV screen when the phone rings (the call log history access would be nice too).

Also, will caller ID show up on all their receivers or just the HD ones?

I am one hair's width away from switching from TWC so I'll be posting a lot of questions in the near future. If DirecTV doesn't have it, the caller ID function is one of the few good things about TWC I'd miss by switching. Thanks.

Yes it will show up on the TV screen, and it will show up on any receiver plugged in to a phone line and the caller ID feature enabled.
 
I have two HR20-100 DVRs and on my main DVR the caller ID stopped working last January. The caller ID on my other DVR still is working.

Are you doing the CE updates, that may have something to do with it.
Most of the time mine works, this latest CE it has not been working.

Caller ID function on the SD-DVRs have been pretty reliable. On the HD-DVRs have been spotty at best over the year and a half the HR20/21 have been out.

It is a feature they don't spend a ton of time on in the software, my guess anyway.
