Is this the same software that was used for CE release this past weekend???

It's probably pretty close (the version only incremented by 1 and there was no new candidate).

This one may not be going west to east. I usually get them at the beginning of the rollout, but not this time.

I'M PRETTY new does this mean i'll be one of the last ones? do these rollouts take very long to reach everyone?

Not necessarily. You might get it tonite, or tomorrow night. Or maybe early next week.
It's a crapshoot on this one. You don't have to do anything. It'll happen overnight.....

Is it possible to force download it tonight if it isn't targeted to hit me automatically?

I got it at 1:33 this am.

The biggest Difference is that the Guide has become pretty snappy on the HR21.

I missed the last 2 CE's so I'm pleased.

That's great news. The sluggishness of the interface is the only thing that has kept me from switching from Dish to Direct. Are others also experiencing a more responsive interface?

It's like text-messaging on some phones - it really speeds up searches.

Example:

A would be 1
B would be 11
C would be 111
D would be 2

etc etc etc.

The one thing that bothers me is the order of DVR "lists". When I change the order using the yellow button, the order does change but not permanantly. Is there any way to do this and if not, is this on anyone's list for future improvements?

Thanks!

Ahhh, thanks. An no, I haven't been using that on the DVR, and I have a full QWERTY keyboard on my cell phone, so I don't use it there either. Afraid that method would be slower for me :p

I can't believe I just responded to a Dookie with no recourse on either end - I must be losing some speed off of my fastball :)
