I "moved" from eastern ohio to chicago tonight but on the locals it's telling me searching for signal on the hd channels and the sd channels tell me it's blacked out. Why am I getting this message?
If I move to South Bend or Toledo will I be able to get locals? How far west from eastern ohio can I go and still get locals?

Legally you can move to about Sandusky Ohio and get Cleveland any farther you probably would get Toledo.

Why would you want Toledo locals ?
Keep in mind, if you do decide to Move while in Chicago to Toledo, D* does not have Toledo in HD and neither are in Conus, so I believe you would be out of the spot beam for them anyways. I am barely in the Spot Beam for Detroit and thats only 50 miles from me.

I don't live in chicago unfortunately. Thus being 40 miles from pittsburgh I am too far from the spot beam to get any signal. Oh how I wish they hadn't went to spot beam technology or that maybe my locals would be on directv but I think hell will freeze over before they add wheeling,wv/steubenville,oh locals because the area just lost 15,000 people this year alone.
