GAME ON! Echostar XI successfully reaches Geo-synchronous Transfer orbit!

Sitting on go. If I were Dish Network, I'd be getting the press release ready for the moment E11 is fired up. (Thanks to all who have kept us posted.)

It seems to me that transponders 8 and 16 have been moved to E* XI. Signal is enormous in the Caribbean, nearly double anything I have seen before!

In the Southern Caribbean I am checking on the 110W signal with a 1.8m Channel Master with Aspen-Eagle DSS LNBF and TP 14 is normally 70 ~83+%; TP 8=70+ and TP 21 also normally have a good signal above 70% and this is without fine tuning the dish. I do not think E11 is in operation yet.

What I believe, since Dish Network have to move E8 east to make room for E11 I believe they would have give it some more power. For example, TP1, 5, 8,9, 16,21 and 24 was 90% for a couple of hours a few weeks ago. Other TP's that was available that was TP 11, 19 and 22. But the signal wasn't for long.

Definitely something is going on with some TPs. I'm getting higher signal on these transponders:

TP 8 Old = 56 New = 78
TP 16 Old = 57 New = 76
TP 24 Old = 56 New = 76

Most TPs have higher signal but only between 5-8 higher.

Dish 1000.2 and I'm in the Bay Area, CA.

What is your location and what size dish do you have? I notice TP 1 has a very low signal. I get TP 8,16 and 24 above 70% even before E11 was at 110W.

Burlington, Vt:

TP 8 Old = 57 New = ~82
TP 16 Old = 58 New =~81
TP 24 Old = 48 New = ~74
