Arizona blocks a punt and wins!!

Can you say '2008 NFC West Champions?'

(Look at the rest of the division- Seattle's pathetic, San Fran's going in circles, and St. Louis... they won, but don't count on them getting hot)

They are officially over the hump!

This is what some people call a 'watershed moment.'

Zona is 4-2, and considering the rest of that division, they will win by default AND because they are flat-out superior!

If the Cardinals lost that game, they would've been headed for a 7-9 season..............and STILL would have won that sorry excuse for a division!

Through six weeks of the NFL season the NFC looks like this:

1. NO teams from the NFC East or South are below .500

2. In the NFC North and West, ONLY the Cardinals (4-2) are above .500

If you're in the NFC, it sucks to be in the East or South!!

Thoughts on the Late Sunday Games:

1. For a game people were expecting a shootout, Dallas and Arizona play a very physical football game.

2. The torch in the NFC West has been past.

3. The Denver Broncos have been figured out.

4. Something tells me Cardinals/Cowboys are on SNF next year.

Bill, your Pats are on deck in the stand-alone game.

We all remember what happened the last time N.E. visited S.D. (Weird game that the Pats, IMO, got a little lucky to win.)

How do you feel your Pats will fare in a VERY hostile environment against a team you once said would be out for blood?

Agreed. That was a very physical game! :up

2. The torch in the NFC West has been past.

Yup. But considering it's the NFC West we're talking about, it's more of a flicker. :D

3. The Denver Broncos have been figured out.

I honestly thought they were a fraud all along.

That being said, they'll probably come into Foxboro and beat the Pats next Monday night.

Historically, the Broncos have been the Patriots daddy.

:)

Denver will still make the playoffs unless SD gets things figured out.

I actually feel confident about this game.

Why, I don't know, considering both Laurence Maroney and Lamont Jordan are doubtful.

Pats, 24-21.
