I'm going to give Arizona some credit.

They can BEAT the creampuff opponents (Miami), unlike the Redskins.

They already beat the cream puffs ... Miami, San Fran and "The Boy's"

IF they are going to be for real, they still have the 49er's again and the Rams twice as well as the Seahawks twice yet, lets say they win 4 of the 5, that would give them 8 wins, is that enough to win the division, I would think, not sure where they would get the next couple of wins to be sure as the rest looks tough, Carolina, Giants, Eagles, Vikings (that may be a win) and NE, I would hope that NE would still be able to beat them.

IF they beat Carolina, that will tell us something, that is one that the should win if they are serious, if they drop the ball there, it could still be ugly.

Thanks Bill,
Yes, the Cub's :)

Jimbo,

I agree that the Cubs have had their share of bad luck, but the NFL Cardinals have won ONE  playoff game in over 70 years. That's pathetic.

I know you and Paul are probably going to disagree with me, but your Lions haven't been nearly as inept as the Cardinals over the years (you made it to the NFC championship against the Redskins in the 80's).

IMO, the two worst franchises in the four major sports.............BY FAR......are the NFL Cardinals and the NBA Clippers.

I'll give you that one... I think the Washington game was in '90, Barry Sander's was there for that one .... probably got the ball 12 times.... sheeeesh.

Some of this, like the Lions is SELF MADE, not bad LUCK :o
That was the last time they made the playoffs, the thing is , when they did make the playoffs you KNEW they were a one and done team....sadly ...

Ya know, the Lions really aren't that bad, the Boy's haven't won one since '96 ... ooops, my bad, at least they GET there.

I know it's only mid-October, but this is THE best NFL Sunday of the season so far.

Consider:

FIVE games that went down to the very end (Dolphins/Texans, Rams/Redskins, Cowboys/Cardinals, Bears/Falcons, Lions/Vikings)

A sensational performance (Drew Brees- 26-30, 320 yards, 3 scores)

The Patriots have been outplayed in EVERY facet of this game tonight.

No excuses, the Chargers are simply the better team.

I'd really like to see Belichick give Kevin O'Connell a shot behind center.

Greatest Team in Your Lifetime
