Thoughts on the early Sunday Games:

1. Kurt Warner is reason that Arizona can't be taken seriously. For as great as his stats are, he's made the biggest mistakes that have cost the Cardinals wins.

2. Tampa Bay lack of any playmakers killed them, especially Garcia, in their loss to the Cowboys.

3. The NFL sent the right two teams to London this year, a game that featured everything and then some.

4. The Bills, Jets and Patriots are all overrated.

Warner is a fantasy monster. The Cardinals problem IMO is the complete lack of a running game. Warner had 380 passing yards and the Cardinals only had 50 rushing yards. That kind of imbalance only works in the Big XII.

HOW LUCKY CAN THE GIANTS GET?!

They got lucky on a bad punt snap from an injury, and all those lucky conversions and all that?!

As far as I'm concerned, I am rooting for the Cowboys next week.

No team, not even the AFC East-rival Dolphins, Jets, or Patriots, get my blood boiling like the G-String men.

Thought on the late Sunday Games:

1. Guess even winning in Pittsburgh isn't enough for Sabres to admit the Giants are legit. :)

2. The Brownies are like a box of Chocolate, ya never know what you gunna get!

3. Hooray the Seahawks are out of the NFC West Cellar. :D

4. Even I am starting to believe that the Bengals may go winless.

The Bengals hunt for a defeated season continue. They suck.

Redskins win, but not that impressive.

Look at the way they won- 4 field goals, a gift screwup on the punt snap, a HORRIBLE flag that negated a long TD run, and an offense that sputtered for most of the game.

When will the champs get some respect?

MAKE THE PLAYOFFS FIRST! Then we'll talk.

I have seen plenty of defending Super Bowl champs look great for a few months, then fizzle out.

You think they won't? THEY ARE THE DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS! The Giants are going to make the playoffs. Aside from their hiccup in Cleveland, and that's what it was, the Giants have been all business this year.

Remember the 2000 Rams- looked invincible the first 6-7 weeks of the year and seemed like a lock to repeat, then went into a tailspin with a bad defense and injuries (QB Kurt Warner in 2000).

IIRC, didn't your Panthers sweep those Rams?

I have no idea what the Panthers did to the Rams that year. But you're right that Rams team was done in by injuries, which can happen to anyone. You can't use that as reason to dis the Giants. They've had plenty of adversity this year and they've overcome everything.

Lets face it, the Giants were lucky to win. Five trips to the red zone and only one touchdown. They were stopped on a goal line stance. Their offense wasn't that good, their defense kept them in the game.

My point exactly. You HAVE to score more touchdowns when you have a chance.

The Giants have to be more careful or they are going to become too one-dimensional.
