NFL 2008-09 Season

Thoughts on the Early Sunday Games:

1. It was a nice run, but the Titans were playing with house money for a couple of weeks in staying undefeated. Let's see what happens now that the loss has happened.

2. Too bad that the Patriots and Cardinals will be long gone before the Super Bowl, it would be a real fun game to watch.

3. If the Eagles weren't finished before today, they are now.

4. This Lions 0-16 deal is starting to catch momentum, and almost weekly someone make a bad "pick" that they won't.

miami's secondary was exposed once again today! after a few weeks of good play from back there, it all came crashing down today. they could not stop those wr's! they had to play catch up and we all know when that happens you can't afford a single offensive mistake. it was a very physical game though but the pat's made sure not to take miami too lightly this time.

I am STILL not buying New England to make a deep playoff run.

They can't run, and still can't play great defense.

They are reminding me this year of the run-and-shoot Houston Oilers of Warren Moon.

Panthers trailing 17-0 with only 8 yards of offense.

With what happened to the Tar Heels yesterday, this could be the worst weekend of anders' life!

I've had worse weekends. The Panthers are playing with house money, but they are getting worked today.

So far, same old Cardinals.

Three trips in the red zone, 1TD and 2FG's.....leaving too many points on the board.

Gave up 2 big returns to the Giants....allowed the Giants the short field that equaled 10 pts.

NFL Stats: by Team Category

They did run for 120 yards today.

But maybe you should check the stats before you make such statements.

BTW, their starting running back is on IR.

They made the stops today when they need to.

Is ANYTHING ever going to go wrong for the Big Blue Scum?

It almost feels like NOTHING goes against them.

And, of course, everyone will say how the NFC is the Giants and nobody else.

Go ahead- declare that they are the best this year.

I don't care what anyone says; I may vote the Giants #1 in my Power Rankings (Remember, Tennessee DID lose) the way AP Voters vote college teams #1, but if you think I want them to be #1, YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!!

Mark my words- the Giants will NOT repeat as champs. THEY WILL NOT!!

The Giants sold their souls to the Devil- that's how they've become a "nothing ever goes wrong" team.

Just remember- when you gamble with the Devil, the Devil ALWAYS wins.

ok. so may i ask who you think might go to the big game in the NFC?

The Raiders are DESTROYING the Broncos 31-10 in Denver!

I'm sure salsa will be happy; this surely makes up for Miami getting throttled by Georgia Tech on Thursday.

After seeing the Eagles look pathetic today, I feel better about Arizona's chances of winning in Philly on Thanksgiving night.

That "West Coast teams can't win on the East Coast" streak is going down on Turkey Day.

Philly is NOT THAT GOOD.

I guess the Card won't be beating the G-String Men.

WHAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE THOSE DAMN GIANTS?!

I guess we might as well pencil them in for Tampa (sarcasm off)
