You have to be kidding me. So the Cable guys get to see my Phillies play the hated Mets today but us DirecTV (The Sports Leader) guys don't get it. Can anyone explain this one to me.

Dishnetwork and Directv customers can watch it, As long as your in the Scranton Wilkes Barre DMA. Its on CW 38. But don't worry , Most likly it will be rained out.

I'm glad it's rained out since DirecTV has dropped the ball once again. I guess this just proves the fact that DirecTV refuses to rebroadcast Phillies home feeds (CSN, MyPHL17). They did last year, so why the change this year?

We pay good money for the EI package, I think we are owed and explination.

It rained out so it really doesn't matter but the indemand schedule says they would have picked up the WPIX (the Mets feed). The cable EI last season showed the local channel for the Rockies that Directv didn't pick up.

BTW, does anyone know what programming is on Peachtree TV (which, BTW, I don't think cable has this feed)?? It's on the satellite feed for EI on D* so no commercials.

I don't know if it's for one night but on Tuesday night EI on Directv had the Phillies local feed. I noticed the game vs. Dodgers was on the schedule and thought it could be a mistake because the game was being televised only on the local stations but it did come on a 4PT.

Yes it did! Funny how it was at the very bottom of the channel listing for MLB EI games on Tuesday. Hope it is a sign of things to come! Also, down the road here next week I see there might be two feeds of the Yanks Phillies games. One states that it is the Yankee feed, I would love to be able to assume that the other is the Phils, but I will believe it when I see it.

Too bad the late great Kalas is no longer calling the games for the Phils. When they play each other I would much rather watch YES for its PQ and listen to the Phils feed for the Kalas call.

Actually, I believe that would have been the perfect combo!

Even if the Phils feed is on, I am sure I won't be able to resist the PQ we will see on YES. Harry would have been the difference maker for me!

By the way DK...what is it now 4 out of 5 losses without Manny. Concerned?

Concerned about the losses? Yes. Is it due to Manny? Probably not directly. 3 of the losses were due to the bullpen blowing the lead in the late innings. Manny cannot pitch anyway. :D They are still scoring a lot of runs. If Manny's loss is a factor, I think it has more to do with shock than the lack of his bat.

I enjoyed the Phillies feed last night. Proves they can do it. Also proves they refuse to do it for all games.

May 21st vs. Cincinnati will be the Phillies feed as the Reds are not televising that game. Both the 22nd and 24th will be the local Phillies feed as opposed to CSN.

I think at this point (looks like it MAY change for that Yankees series, that they don't want to because there are other choices. Same goes for the Padres. They've only shown 3 games from Channel 4 in San Diego (when the Padres were in Philadelphia) otherwise the Padres feed has not been shown.

Edit to add: According to my program guide, there are two feeds listed for Sunday's Nationals vs. Phillies game (728 and 744, note I only have SD not HD).

Looks like we may get the Phillies feed today (5/17) for the game. They are so stubborn they won't even post "(Phillies feed)" on the schedule......

I wonder if D* has added the My 17 Phl feed since Sunday had two feeds and is scheduled for 2 of the 3 Yankees game next week. But they still won't show CSN unless no other feed is scheduled.

We had dozens of CSN Philadelphia Phillies games last season.Who knows this season ?
The Jays & Padres stations have been used.Maybe Philly is next & other OTAs.
